The client commissioned DI Experts to lead the planning and development of a tool that would explain the tablet models to end customers in an understandable way and also serve as a training platform for the sales team.

Situation

A global electronics manufacturer needed an app solution that would both guide consumers intuitively through the product range and serve as a learning and training environment for sales staff.

Procedure

Together with the European headquarters and the national companies, DI Experts defined a consumer-oriented project vision and concrete goals. DI Experts then carried out a SWOT analysis of the existing selector and examined the app landscape for optimization potential. Based on this, DI Experts drew up a detailed specification of the business requirements, a robust business case and a KPI set. Finally, DI Experts developed an implementation plan with several decision scenarios for the app development.

Result

The work resulted in a clear roadmap for app development that supports both sales and training. DI Experts also provided a blueprint for future digital projects, which will serve as a guide for the client for further product launches.
