The client commissioned DI Experts to develop a clear understanding of the performance and pricing of its stationary and online stores in order to systematically identify potential for improvement and base strategic decisions on this.

Situation

A global provider of loyalty programs had no uniform transparency regarding its product range, brand mix and pricing strategies in its various sales channels, meaning that important areas for optimization could not be identified either in the short or long term.

Procedure

DI Experts carried out a detailed performance analysis for each store and online store by systematically evaluating the product range, category and brand mix as well as price data. Sales and margin data were used in interviews with head office managers to make cross-channel performance differences transparent. On this basis, DI Experts developed an evaluation logic to prioritize quick wins and long-term measures.

Result

The analysis resulted in a set of clear recommendations that allow the management and management team to make short-term optimizations and strategic readjustments. By prioritizing measures, both quick successes and sustainable improvements in the product range and price structure can be achieved.
