PLM implementation for a luxury skiwear brand

The customer commissioned DI Experts to optimize the coordination of timing, processes and responsibilities in product development and to introduce a PLM system in order to secure all relevant data centrally.

Following an internal reorganization, the product development team was working in an uncoordinated manner and lack of clarity in roles was jeopardizing the timely completion of the collections. Without a PLM solution, there was a high risk of delays and data loss.

DI Experts carried out a global analysis of the PLM requirements and moderated workshops in which target processes and clear responsibilities were defined. A small team of experts then set up the system and validated the setup together with key users. After configuration, DI Experts implemented the PLM system and established a key user structure for long-term support.

The documentation of the complete product development process created a transparent basis for future projects and defined clear responsibilities for each role. With the new PLM system, development data is managed centrally and the cycle is supported efficiently. This changed the way of working from isolated processes to collaborative teamwork, which ensures that the collections are launched on time.
