Program management for a startup in the field of renewable energies

The client commissioned DI Experts to support the start-up as a consultant and project manager, to shorten the time to market and to put the operational organization on a solid footing.

Situation

With its core team of six, the company already had around 25 individual projects running in parallel, but due to a high workload and a lack of experience in various areas, it had fallen into organizational difficulties and inefficient working methods.

Procedure

DI Experts first drew up a detailed program plan with clearly defined tasks, responsibilities and schedules. As part of a comprehensive IT health check, existing systems and processes were examined for weaknesses, while the introduction of CRM and ERP systems was prepared at the same time. At the same time, DI Experts developed targeted training documents and reporting tools for the sales team, designed an omnichannel calendar including a training concept, defined a tender basis with evaluation tools for purchasing and provided contract templates for the legal handover.

Result

The structured project plan allows the company to clearly manage tasks, responsibilities, schedules and milestones. The enhanced business plan and KPI dashboard enables data-based business management, while sales training and marketing tools have been introduced to increase efficiency when entering the market. The IT health check and CRM troubleshooting have stabilized the systems so that the next phase of the ERP implementation can start smoothly.
