PLM system integration for an international motorsport team

The client commissioned DI Experts to support the introduction of the CentricSoftware product lifecycle management system with stringent project management.

A leading motorsport company opted for Centric software to make its processes more efficient. The tight schedule and the parallel coordination of various specialist and technical teams posed particular challenges.

DI Experts initially defined sprint and milestone plans in order to define realistic timeframes and dependencies between tasks. DI Experts monitored the progress of the project using Jira and provided the project sponsor with regular status updates. As the central point of contact, DI Experts coordinated all activities - from development and data migration to training and system testing. In addition, DI Experts created training materials with best practice guidelines and ensured end-to-end budget control. With a final briefing document, DI Experts summarized all solutions and findings to support future projects.

The implementation was completed on schedule despite the tight time frame. The improved coordination of the teams involved led to significantly fewer delays in system implementation. Thanks to comprehensive training, users were able to adopt the new PLM standard immediately. The project remained within budget and the detailed documentation now serves as a valuable reference for future projects.
