Digital service ecosystem for an urban district

The client commissioned DI Experts to design a digital ecosystem in the form of a web app that provides services such as access management, workplace booking and event management for a new city quarter.

A new urban quarter, scheduled to open at the end of 2026, was to offer tenants, visitors and companies a seamless digital user experience. To achieve this, all service applications had to be integrated centrally and a modern platform architecture had to be established.

DI Experts first developed detailed user journeys based on 19 personas and seven behavioral groups in order to precisely map the requirements of all target groups. DI Experts then moderated several requirements workshops in which technical challenges were identified and solutions developed. As part of the supplier selection process, DI Experts carried out SWOT analyses of potential technology partners in order to make a low-risk decision. In parallel, DI Experts defined the necessary user roles and access rights and implemented risk minimization strategies to meet the project schedule.

The measures resulted in a clear development plan that structures all services on the basis of comprehensive user journeys. The implemented web application forms a secure and flexible digital ecosystem that ensures a seamless user experience. Tenants, visitors and companies can now control access, workplace bookings and event management centrally, which makes everyday life in the quarter much easier. DI Experts has thus driven forward the digital transformation of the urban quarter and created an innovative platform.
