The customer commissioned DI Experts to implement a holistic digital ecosystem that includes a user-friendly web store and ensures seamless integration with the existing ERP system in order to automate process steps and make them more efficient in the future.

Situation

A traditional, regional bicycle retailer was looking for a digital transformation partner to modernize its sales channels, strengthen its online presence and optimize ERP-supported processes.

Procedure

DI Experts developed a targeted CX/UX strategy for the new e-commerce platform, selected a scalable ERP system and integrated it seamlessly into the existing architecture. In close cooperation with all stakeholders, requirements were coordinated, test cycles were carried out and training for the internal team was realized to ensure a smooth implementation.

Result

The new digital ecosystem offers a consistently intuitive online shopping experience, automated ordering and fulfilment processes in the ERP and noticeably higher customer loyalty thanks to fast loading times and personalized services. At the same time, internal throughput times have been reduced by more than 30%.
