The client commissioned DI Experts to develop a concept for a future-proof infrastructure for data collection and evaluation in order to monitor operational CO₂ emissions and integrate the retail footprint into external reporting in an audit-proof manner.

A leading company in the sports industry had set itself the goal of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030. This required a robust platform that consistently records, validates and processes energy and emissions data worldwide.

DI Experts first analyzed the fragmented system landscape and carried out a gap analysis to uncover existing weaknesses in the data infrastructure.
