Central CMS structure for international content rollout

A global retail company wanted to ensure that digital content was displayed consistently worldwide. DI Experts supported the development of a scalable CMS framework and accompanied the roll-out across more than 300 locations.

Situation

Content was managed using different systems, tools and processes in the various regions of the company. This led to inconsistencies in brand communication and made the technical development and central control of content more difficult. In addition, there was a growing need for localizable content that could be rolled out flexibly and efficiently - without any loss of quality or manual detours.

Procedure

DI Experts was responsible for designing and managing the project to introduce a central CMS structure. Together with internal stakeholders from IT, marketing and retail, a modular framework was developed that combines central control with local adaptability. The requirements from various markets were recorded and translated into technical specifications. At the same time, processes for content governance, approvals and translations were established. The technical implementation was accompanied in close cooperation with implementation partners. Standardized interfaces enabled existing systems to be connected efficiently.

Result

The central CMS platform was successfully introduced globally. In future, content could be displayed faster, more consistently and in line with the brand at over 300 locations - in different languages and adapted to regional requirements. The solution enabled a high degree of efficiency in day-to-day business, reduced media disruptions and created a solid technical basis for future expansions.
