Selection of a booking solution for flexible space management in a business district

The client commissioned DI Experts to evaluate and optimize the tender documents and identify potential providers in order to find a reliable digital booking solution for flexible work and meeting rooms.

A modern life science hub in Basel already offered its tenants office space, a fitness center, restaurants, bars, a cinema and shopping facilities. For the newly developed space, individual work and conference rooms were to be provided in addition, offering both a high level of privacy and shared infrastructure for ecological and social synergies.

DI Experts accompanied the entire tendering process as a consultant, optimized the documents with clear requirement definitions and identified potential technology partners. Criteria for system functions, data protection, scalability and support were defined in order to select a modular platform in the tender process that meets the requirements of modern teams.

The revised tender documents led to a structured and transparent award process. A decision matrix was used to determine an optimal technology partner that would enable flexible rental periods of three months or more as well as private retreats in combination with shared infrastructure, thus creating the basis for a dynamic community in a prestigious working environment.
